First of all, I need to tell you that this website is a personal project, and it is no way endorsed or connected to Visa.
Here is how it started. I love to take weekend breaks, grab my back pack and discover other countries and cities on my very tigh London schedule. But I suffer from a very common problem: I don’t have that much money!
I spend a considerable amount of time surfing the web looking for bargains, and travelling information, and when I thought it wasn’t possible to travel any cheaper, I came accross a couple of forums that said that the budget airlines didn’t charge any fees when booking with Visa Electron cards online!
After reading such good news, I spoke to my bank, and surprisingly it didn’t issue a Visa Electron card, despite being a very mainstream bank. So I called a couple of other mainstream banks and nothing, none of them issued Visa Electron cards. Outraged by such lack of consideration for my travelling, I’ve decided to call ALL banks in the UK asking for a Visa Electron card! So this website is the result of my lunchtime research that lasted 2 months.
